Our Story
RealCare Wellness was established in 2025 by a nurse practitioner, Mark Polintan FNP-C, with a vision of joining to be one of the best providers of virtual healthcare, bridging the gap between patients and quality medical services at the time of need. He aims to make healthcare more accessible, affordable, and efficient, ensuring that patients can achieve optimal health regardless of location or lifestyle. Through his experience, he realized that it is about time to step up and help the community in need.
Although most people have their own primary care providers, scheduling an appointment at the time of sickness could be challenging (e.g. long wait times from hours, days, weeks, or even a month). Hence, patients ending up going to an urgent care or emergency room even just for minor illness, which will cost them a high copay that can reach up to hundreds of dollars.
Meet The Provider
Mark is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in adult medicine. He received his Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Illinois with distinction in 2021, Master of Arts in Nursing from Holy Angel University, Philippines in 2007, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Angeles University, Philippines in 2005. Mark has been a registered nurse since 2005 and practiced in medical-surgical, case management, utilization management, and academe. Mark was originally from the Philippines, and immigrated in the United States in 2015. With various nursing experience, Mark realized the importance of outpatient care on an ongoing basis to improve health outcome. In his free time, Mark enjoys cooking, singing, and traveling. Mark is fluent in English, Tagalog, Cebuano, and Kapampangan. Mark is licensed nurse practitioner in California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Minnesota, New York, and Florida*. *FL- telehealth only nurse practitioner
